Dear Peck and Ann,

Thank you both so very much for the darling little sweater you sent Theodore McEwan. He will certainly be able to use it this winter. I know it will look precious on him and being white it will go with so many things.

The letter is dated at the foot of the third page ‘Sept. 3, 1968’ and the envelope is postmarked Orlando, 5 SEP 1968 (page 266). Written in blue ink in a flowing cursive hand on letterhead bearing Nancy’s monogram ‘NMG’ (page 267).
