Emma Dee died May, 1959, and Dr. Corbell died the following [the ‘following’ is overstruck on the typewriter — the typist appears to have hit a stray key on top of ‘ol’ before continuing] January, 1960.

Mary Ann married attorney, O.B. McEwan of Orlando, Florida in 1941. They had three children — Christopher G. McEwan, Nancy Fletcher McEwan and James Walker McEwan. Mary Ann died February 7, 1975.

AI Notes

Second page of the same typescript begun on page 660. The upper third of the sheet — narrating the conclusion of Emma Dee’s life and the marriage of Mary Ann Walker to O. B. McEwan — is fully legible. The remainder of the sheet is heavily ghosted with offset typing bled through from the facing leaf (the Samuel Cadwalder Walker biography that appears in clean form on page 662 — the typist evidently stacked the carbons together and the ink set off across pages). The bled-through text is not original to this page and is not transcribed. The word ‘following’ is overstruck with extra letters at the typewriter — the ‘fbbowing’ rendering in the raw image is the typewriter’s clobbered ‘following’ overstrike, not a transcription issue.

The lower two-thirds of the sheet is occupied by a faint mirror-offset of typing transferred from a facing page; it duplicates passages of the Samuel Cadwalder Walker biography that appears in clean form on page 662 and is not transcribed here.
