The relationship is “my Mother,” confirming this is the compiler Amy’s note about her own mother’s writings. M.A.F.S. = Mary Anne (Perry) Fitz Simons.]

Julia Dessallieu — but per the Bessellieu family list at lower right of this album page, the correct surname is Bessellieu (not Dessallieu). The standard family record for this marriage is Benjamin Faneuil Dunkin Perry (B. F. D. Perry, 1834–1874) m. Julia Virginia Bessellieu — i.e., the first strikethrough restores the canonical “Dunkin” middle name. Donkin Drayton Perry (B. F. D. Perry’s brother) is a separate man, who married Jane Miller (per pp. 624 and 628).]
