AI Notes

A second loose worksheet in the same blue-cursive hand as page 394, listing the descendants of Samuel Gaillard FitzSimons 2nd (b. 21 Sept 1904, d. 20 Oct 1961) and Mary Haddon (m. 3 Jan 1931). Three children are listed with marriage and birth dates. Red ink queries — ‘date’, ‘any issue?’ — mark gaps the compiler wanted filled. The lower half of the sheet is largely blank but shows faint mirror-image bleed-through from the verso (the Walker-Corbell worksheet on p398). ‘Mary Haddon’ is written in caps and underscored, suggesting this is the worksheet’s headline name for the maternal line. The ‘2nd’ suffix here distinguishes Samuel Gaillard FitzSimons Jr. (1904–1961, the compiler’s brother) from the first Samuel Gaillard FitzSimons (the compiler’s father, d. 1930).

Samuel Gaillard FitzSimons Jr. (1904–1961) was the compiler Amy FitzSimons Walker’s youngest brother — the seventh child of Samuel Gaillard FitzSimons Sr. and Mary Ann Perry, per the family page 339. His three children with Mary Haddon are tabulated more completely on p339.
