AI Notes
Album page with a worn cream envelope mounted at the center, its flap open and torn along the upper edge. Two short inscriptions in different inks: a brown-ink note across the top of the flap in the compiler’s hand, and a blue-ink signature at the lower right reading ‘Little Sam’. The envelope once contained the pressed four-leaf clover mounted on the facing page (066). ‘Baby’ refers to James Pickens Walker Jr., born Jan. 5, 1912; the ‘Amy’ who sent the clover is presumably the compiler’s mother, Amy Perry FitzSimons (the elder). No additional marginalia at full resolution.
