Mrs. Walker continued to spend three winters in Washington D.C. and after Anna left Gunston they spent the summers on the farm in W. Va. and the winters in Washington D.C. Beginning in 1903 they began to spend the winters in Philippi W. Va. In 1904 Mrs. Walker, Anna & Pickens spent the winter on the farm. In 1908 they bought the present home in Philippi — 115 S. Main St. Mrs. Walker died there March 30th 1933 and is buried in the [blank] . in Philippi.

Mrs. Walker was born on the Pickens farm on Arnold Run. She lived [there] until she married. She taught school near by —
