A single oval-mounted studio portrait at the center of the page.

The sitter is a young woman with dark hair piled in a high pompadour, wearing a pale shirtwaist with a soft pleated or ruffled bodice. She is shown three-quarter length with her head turned slightly toward her right, both hands raised to frame her face — one resting beneath her chin and the other against her cheek. The studio backdrop behind her is a softly graduated cloudy gray.

Caption (handwritten in pencil below the portrait):

Amy Perry Fitz-Simons 1905

AI Notes

An album page (lined notebook paper, three punched holes) with a single oval-mounted studio portrait of the compiler, Amy Perry FitzSimons, at about age seventeen (Amy was born 4 Feb 1888). She is photographed in three-quarter view facing the camera with her head turned slightly to her right; both hands are raised to frame her face — one resting beneath her chin, the other against her cheek. The print is mounted in an embossed oval window cut in a cream card. The handwritten caption in brown ink below identifies the sitter and dates the photograph 1905.
